45M at Calgary Bull Sale

Here is one of our all-time favourite bull calves at Breton West. This well dispositioned bull has excellent color and markings with hooded eyes. He is above breed average for marbling and ribeye EPDs. He has muscle, length of body and conformational balance. He has gained well, his calves are born easily are looking great!

His sire, 58K (photo at right), was also popular here and was our feature Calgary 2002 Bull Sale bull, selling to Philip Howard of Vermilion, Alberta. 
His grandsire 765G (at left) came from Skunk Hollow Ranch of Trochu, Alberta and is leaving his mark here.  45M's dam, Diana 55D, is from a terrific cow family that has always had perfect udders.  Her sire, 4A, is a cornerstone of our herd.  We showed 55D at the '98 and '99 Farmfair shows.

45M placed 1st at the Central Alberta Hereford Club Futurity in Olds, judged by Norm and Marc Parrent of Clyde, Alberta.

Paternal sister, Dom KJ Miss Mindy 29M (shown at left) is an outstanding young female in the Breton West cow herd. She was shown as a bred Yearling and Two-Year-Old successfully. '03 NAHC Futurity Yearling Division Winner '04 NAHC Futurity 2 Year Old Division Winner	NESP 21P was in the 2004 Farmfair show string and was very popular.	NESP 65P- This heifer is out of the great 6D cow.
